Plot
Kabir Malhotra is a novelist whose failed career and relationship with Simran made him move to Kashmir in search of inspiration. He meets Meera, a beautiful but mysterious woman who runs a guesthouse. Meera allows him to stay at her guesthouse and soon they develop a romantic relationship. Kabir also finds out that Meera is married to Jaidev, a rich businessman who is bedridden and paralyzed. Jaidev has a strange condition that makes him unable to bear any sound, and he communicates with Meera through written notes. Kabir becomes curious about Meera's past and Jaidev's condition, and decides to investigate. He discovers that Meera was once a singer who was in love with Jaidev, but Jaidev's mother disapproved of their relationship and tried to separate them. She hired a man named Shekhar to seduce Meera and break her trust in Jaidev. However, Shekhar fell in love with Meera and tried to elope with her. Jaidev found out about their plan and killed Shekhar in a fit of rage. He also tried to kill Meera, but she escaped and ran into the woods. There, she encountered a spirit who possessed her body and gave her the power to heal Jaidev's wounds. The spirit also made a deal with Meera that she would have to sacrifice one man every year to keep Jaidev alive. Kabir realizes that he is the next victim of Meera's sacrifice, and confronts her about it. Meera admits the truth and begs him to leave, but Kabir refuses to abandon her.
